As soon as my teacher said we were gonna be making a kid’s picture book the idea of a baby turtle whose siblings are mean to and the baby turtle doesn’t have any friends and go on an adventure to find friends in the ocean. I wanted to have turtles in the story because I think turtles are really cute but my cousin loves turtles so much he talks about turtles all the time. My story is kind of based on Finding Nemo when Nemo doubted himself because he thought he couldn’t handle the current in the ocean and Nemo ended up going in the current and he found his first friend, Dory.
